Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the strategy and development of Lending Originations capabilities to enhance the applicant experience, boost new-loan conversion rates, and improve members’ financial well-being.

• Take ownership of the product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for Lending Originations journeys and capabilities.

• Set objectives, key results, and performance metrics aligned with organizational priorities and member requirements.

• Identify and rank opportunities to enhance application completion, approval, funding, and new-loan conversions.

• Convert customer, business, risk, and operational requirements into product priorities and scalable solutions.

• Utilize research, data analysis, surveys, experimentation, and feedback to gain insights into applicant and member needs.

• Create seamless lending experiences that support responsible lending practices and regulatory compliance.

• Define the scope and oversee the development of Lending Originations products, capabilities, and features.

• Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Fraud, Marketing, Operations, Legal, and Compliance.

• Guide products from discovery and validation through to launch, measurement, iteration, and scaling.

• Manage dependencies, address blockers, and balance short-term delivery with platform scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Design and implement originations-funnel experiments to enhance completion, conversion, approval, and funding rates.

• Establish success metrics, assess performance, derive insights, and inform product decisions.

• Articulate product priorities, decisions, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to executive leadership and partner teams.

• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Fraud teams to ensure adherence to regulations and responsible lending practices.

• Assist in the launch and ongoing management of products operating within intricate legal and regulatory frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of core product management experience in fast-paced environments.

• Experience in leading complex, high-impact product initiatives from strategy formulation to execution and scaling.

• Proven track record of launching and iterating customer-facing products with measurable business and customer outcomes.

• Experience in financial services, FinTech, lending, digital banking, or other highly regulated industries is highly preferred.

• A strong passion for enhancing members’ financial health.

• Experience in creating simple, accessible, and seamless customer experiences.

• Ability to balance customer needs with business objectives, risk factors, operational demands, and regulatory requirements.

• Proficient in structuring and resolving complex, ambiguous challenges.

• Extensive experience in using data to drive decisions, define metrics, develop hypotheses, and assess results.

• Familiarity with experimentation, funnel analysis, product analytics, and performance optimization.

• Ability to foster consensus and drive results among cross-functional collaborators.

• Capability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

• Skillful at operating effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.

• Clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong documentation, storytelling, and executive presentation abilities.

• Proficient at explaining complex product, technical, risk, and business concepts to varied audiences.

• Competent in identifying risks, managing dependencies, addressing blockers, and sustaining momentum.

• Experience in launching and managing products within complex legal and regulatory landscapes.

• Prior experience with lending originations, credit products, underwriting, application funnels, or loan decision-making is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with credit risk, fraud, compliance, servicing, or financial-product economics is advantageous.
