Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee the BlockWorks Online product backlog, including prioritization and release planning.

• Collaborate with Product Experience, Engineering, and Design teams to establish requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Drive the implementation of features and enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

• Utilize data and customer insights to guide feature improvements and enhance user experiences.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and work within an Agile delivery framework.

• Ensure that instrumentation, testing, and reporting capabilities effectively support product performance and experimentation.

• Identify risks, dependencies, and challenges in delivery, proactively working towards their resolution.

• Guarantee a seamless end-to-end experience for tax professionals and clients across releases.

• Act as the subject matter expert for BlockWorks Online, bridging Product Experience, Engineering, and business stakeholders.

• Promote continuous optimization through A/B testing, experimentation, and ongoing product enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Over 4 years of experience in product management, ideally within consumer-facing digital products or applications.

• Proven experience managing backlogs, prioritizing tasks, and delivering features within an Agile framework.

• Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional teams to drive execution and successful delivery.

• Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle and contemporary delivery methodologies (Agile, Lean, DevOps).

• Excellent analytical abilities, with the capacity to utilize data for informed decision-making.

• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proven learning mindset with experience employing experimentation frameworks to guide product choices.

• Comfortable using AI tools throughout the product development lifecycle and eager to explore emerging technologies.

• A history of enhancing end-to-end user experiences.

• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

• Confidence in decision-making, rapid learning, and adapting based on feedback.
