This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Maintain an accurate product roadmap that serves as the definitive guide for the direction of rare disease products, execution priorities, and cross-functional coordination.
• Integrate insights from customers, providers, commercial sectors, competitive analysis, market access, technology, clinical considerations, and regulatory factors to uncover opportunities, unmet needs, and gaps in the portfolio.
• Collaborate with teams across Sales, Market Access, R&D, Operations, Technology, Medical Affairs, Finance, Legal, Quality, and Client Services to align on priorities, resource allocation, and stakeholder expectations.
• Create data-driven business cases and ROI justifications that encompass strategic alignment, business impact, feasibility, revenue potential, profitability, market share, competitive edge, technical complexity, operational readiness, regulatory factors, and resource requirements.
• Take ownership of Market Requirements Documents and specify target segments, value propositions, use cases, product features, workflows, user experience needs, pricing elements, and success metrics.
• Track the performance of products in the market, identify risks and underperformance issues, and implement corrective action plans.
• Oversee product enhancements, iterations, releases, and lifecycle improvements based on customer feedback, performance analytics, market shifts, operational needs, reimbursement factors, and post-launch evaluations.
• Facilitate go-to-market readiness through comprehensive launch planning, training, materials development, workflow design, messaging strategies, sales enablement, and commercial execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, genetics, bioinformatics, healthcare, business, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in product management within diagnostics, genomics, or a similar domain.
• Proven experience in lifecycle management of products currently on the market and in executing commercial product launches.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams or initiatives in clinical, healthcare, laboratory, or regulated settings.
• Ability to convert clinical, market, customer, and partner insights into actionable product requirements, prioritized plans of execution, and quantifiable business outcomes.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Preferred experience with whole exome or whole genome sequencing and related technologies.
• Experience collaborating with geneticists/genetic counselors, neurologists, and/or developmental pediatricians is favored.
• Strong understanding of genetic testing, genomic technologies, clinical workflows, data analytics concepts, and regulated product development processes.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and achieve stakeholder alignment.
• Capability to prioritize initiatives using data, customer feedback, strategic alignment, business impact, feasibility, and resource considerations.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort in utilizing product, financial, commercial, operational, quality, and customer metrics.
• Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Compliance with applicable company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements for any laboratory access is mandatory.
• Remote work arrangement.
• Approximately quarterly travel required.
