This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of one or more strategic product areas, translating broad organizational objectives into product strategy and execution plans.
• Cultivate an in-depth understanding of regulatory engagements, user workflows, market dynamics, and technical and compliance constraints that influence the Accumulus Platform.
• Frame ambiguous opportunities, assess alternatives, prioritize initiatives, and advise on what to develop or forgo.
• Lead discovery sessions with regulators and engage users through research plans, interviews, workflow analyses, experiments, and concept tests.
• Quickly prototype solutions, collect user feedback, synthesize insights, and recommend subsequent actions.
• Identify and validate AI-enabled workflows while focusing on accuracy, trust, transparency, explainability, human oversight, privacy, security, and quality.
• Collaborate with Technology on decisions regarding building, buying, or partnering, as well as model and data considerations, evaluation methods, and productionization.
• Utilize AI for research synthesis, analysis, requirements gathering, prototyping, analytics, and communication.
• Ensure clarity, usability, and coherence throughout the entire product experience.
• Employ Figma and AI-assisted tools to explore workflows and iterate prior to development.
• Transform discovery insights into workflows, interaction requirements, and implementation-ready product artifacts.
• Work alongside frontend engineers and Technology partners throughout implementation to maintain product intent and ensure quality.
• Define success metrics for adoption, engagement, workflow, quality, and business outcomes.
• Partner on instrumentation, monitor usage, investigate behavior changes, and leverage quantitative and qualitative evidence to inform next steps.
• Convert validated direction into epics, user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and supporting artifacts.
• Collaborate with Engineering in an agile environment to prioritize and refine the backlog, negotiate trade-offs, and facilitate delivery.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and decision points; present mitigation strategies and make timely trade-offs.
• Support reliable delivery through program management and business operations.
• Ensure product issues are recognized, prioritized, and resolved.
• Stay updated on regulatory expectations, industry standards, and market developments.
• Collaborate with regulatory, legal, security, privacy, and quality partners to develop compliant solutions.
• Act as a product subject matter expert for internal teams, customers, prospects, partners, and market-facing communications.
• Collaborate on positioning, launch strategies, enablement, adoption, and scalable operational processes.
• Identify growth opportunities and unique value propositions that advance Accumulus' mission and platform strategy.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Seven or more years of product management experience, with a proven track record of independently managing complex enterprise software products or product areas from discovery through delivery and iteration.
• Five or more years of experience with enterprise SaaS platforms or supporting software in complex organizational settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in customer discovery, problem framing, hypothesis development, rapid experimentation, prototyping, and evidence-based product decision-making.
• Strong judgment in product and UX, with the capability to define coherent workflows and create prototypes without depending on a dedicated Product Designer.
• Experience in establishing product success metrics, collaborating on instrumentation, analyzing adoption and usage behavior, and utilizing qualitative and quantitative evidence to inform decisions.
• Proven AI-native methodologies and a practical understanding of the opportunities, limitations, risks, and responsible design considerations associated with AI-enabled products.
• Strong technical fluency and the ability to work collaboratively with Engineering on architecture, integrations, data, security, scalability, and delivery trade-offs.
• Experience in delivering complex software through agile development processes while balancing user value, business outcomes, technical feasibility, compliance, and delivery risks.
• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and formal presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, executives, customers, and regulators.
• Willingness to travel up to four times a year.
• Strongly preferred: Experience in taking enterprise AI/ML or large language model capabilities from discovery and validation to production, including defining evaluation, human oversight, trust, and quality approaches.
• Strongly preferred: Experience in life sciences, regulatory technology, healthcare, or another highly regulated software environment.
• Strongly preferred: Experience with secure collaboration, content management, data exchange, regulatory submissions, workflow, or project management platforms.
• Strongly preferred: Experience in delivering product analytics, reporting, or self-service analytics capabilities.
• Strongly preferred: A technical degree or practical experience in software development, data, or systems integration.
• Discretionary bonus = 15%.
