This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Develop and launch Zeitview's main enterprise platform, Asset Insights.
• Transform prioritized requirements from vertical product leads into functional software.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to define technical strategies.
• Oversee cross-stage dependencies throughout the inspection pipeline: capture, analysis, and delivery.
• Deliver intricate programs with high-quality standards.
• Assess opportunities where generative AI, LLM, or agent-based functionalities can enhance or replace platform workflows.
• Negotiate scope compromises among various vertical product managers vying for engineering resources.
• Manage the backlog for one or more stages of the Asset Insights pipeline.
• Create epics and stories that engineering teams can implement without needing further clarification.
• Collaborate with operations teams conducting inspections and generating reports.
• Identify product enhancements that eliminate manual processes.
• Refine interface contracts between different stages of the pipeline.
• Establish or enhance measurement frameworks and define success metrics prior to launch.
• Provide technical insights that contribute to the development of product strategy.
• Mentor team members informally and facilitate cross-functional coordination without having direct reports.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a science, technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in product management.
• Proven experience in building and launching enterprise B2B SaaS products.
• Experience in making architectural and scoping decisions that impact product scalability.
• Practical experience with AI/ML-driven product functionalities, including generative AI, LLMs, agent-based systems, or similar technologies.
• Competence in assessing AI feature readiness for production environments.
• Capability to engage in technical design discussions with engineering leaders.
• Experience in shaping system architecture and analyzing build-vs-buy decisions.
• Proven track record of ensuring effective prototype-to-production workflows.
• Experience managing complex and ambiguous programs across multiple teams.
• Ability to coordinate through influence, clarity, and consistent follow-through.
• Proficiency in crafting clear product requirements and specifications.
• Strong quantitative reasoning skills.
• Experience in developing measurement frameworks and designing experiments.
• Strongly preferred: experience collaborating with operational or service delivery teams.
• Strongly preferred: product management or domain expertise in solar, wind, utilities, oil & gas, or commercial properties.
• Strongly preferred: familiarity with geospatial data pipelines, remote sensing, or inspection/asset management platforms.
• Strongly preferred: experience in designing evaluation frameworks for non-deterministic AI outputs.
• Strongly preferred: background in drone or remote piloted system workflows.
• Strongly preferred: experience in mobile application development.
• Candidates must already reside in either Boston/New England or the San Francisco Bay Area.
