Senior Product Management Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Define and advocate for a cohesive product vision and roadmap in Identity & Access Management.

• Create and implement a customer-focused strategy that enhances platform adoption, scalability, and security.

• Develop measurable success metrics and KPIs to evaluate platform performance, governance, and customer impact.

• Collaborate with Security, Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment of identity capabilities with global trust, privacy, and compliance standards.

• Design the platform access model tailored for complex enterprise organizations.

• Establish protocols for identifying, authorizing, and governing AI agents.

• Lead cross-functional project delivery utilizing Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.

• Monitor adoption and security outcomes through telemetry and customer feedback.

• Ensure that platform foundations provide extensibility and reliability for both developers and administrators.

• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to consistently apply access policies.

• Enable administrators to effectively audit and comprehend user and agent activities.

• Act as the executive advocate for the platform's access control and identity strategy.

• Manage executive communication regarding rollout and adoption phases.

• Promote governance and consistent adoption of foundational platform capabilities.

• Cultivate relationships with enterprise customers and translate their needs into reusable platform features.

• Establish partnerships across the identity ecosystem.

• Define ownership and collaborative capabilities with fellow product leaders.

• Present the platform vision and updates at internal meetings, customer engagements, and industry events.

• Encourage innovation, accountability, and customer empathy throughout teams.

• Lead, mentor, and develop product leaders.

• Set the operating model for the team, including ownership boundaries, planning cadence, and hiring strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of product management experience, with a demonstrated track record in leading SaaS or CCaaS platform initiatives.

• More than 5 years of experience managing product management teams, including senior product managers or product leaders.

• Proven expertise and technical proficiency in identity and access management technologies, including OAuth 2.0/OIDC, SAML, SCIM, MFA, RBAC/ABAC, and multi-tenant authorization at an enterprise level.

• Understanding of security and identity issues pertinent to AI agents.

• Proven history of crafting and executing product strategies that effectively balance usability, compliance, and scalability.

• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and influence global, cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Excellent organizational skills, with a record of achieving results across product, engineering, user experience, design, and research teams.

• Outstanding executive communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical strategies to both technical and business stakeholders.

• A visionary thinker who can also focus on details to ensure execution excellence.

• Experience with large-scale customer platforms, preferably in contact center, CX, or workflow orchestration sectors.

• Background with large enterprise clients that have complex organizational and regulatory needs.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

• An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
