Senior Product Management Associate – Copilot, M365 Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver operational ownership and product management during U.S. hours for Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365 automation.

• Collaborate with IT, identity, and platform engineering teams to configure tenant, environment, connector, and citizen development workspaces.

• Oversee access provisioning, security group and RBAC requests, user lifecycle processes, intake queues, and service health monitoring.

• Sustain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

• Automate, standardize, and enhance recurring workflows.

• Manage Copilot and Power Platform license governance, which includes assignment, reclamation, eligibility, renewals, true-up inputs, and cost tracking.

• Design and refine automated and exception-based audits for agents, flows, apps, connectors, sharing, and permissions.

• Generate reports on adoption, usage, license utilization, support quality, and audits.

• Plan and oversee rollouts across pilot groups, business units, and deployment waves.

• Track the Microsoft roadmap, Message Center, and release notes, converting approved changes into rollout and enablement activities.

• Manage use-case intake, registration, review, and approval processes for citizen development.

• Keep an inventory of solutions, ownership records, standards, templates, and reusable patterns.

• Create training materials, product guides, FAQs, office hours, and responsible-use resources.

• Ensure maintenance of usage policies, acceptable-use guidance, access standards, data loss prevention and environment policies, governance documentation, and operating procedures.

• Monitor oversharing, data exposure, unapproved connectors, orphaned automations, control gaps, and emerging risks.

• Provide product direction, priorities, requirements, user stories, and success criteria to operations and execution teams based in India.

• Coordinate sprint planning, backlog refinement, cross-time-zone handoffs, asynchronous updates, delivery reviews, dependency management, feedback, and resolution of blockers.

• Act as an escalation point during U.S. hours, communicating product status, decisions, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.

• Execute other duties and contribute to related initiatives as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, information systems, or a related field is required.

• At least 3 years of experience in product management, technical product ownership, platform operations, or a related field is necessary.

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform, workflow automation, or similar enterprise SaaS and business-productivity platforms is required.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse is essential.

• Understanding of environments, connectors, data loss prevention policies, managed environments, and the Power Platform admin center is necessary.

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and service management is required.

• Proficiency in license models, entitlement governance, and cost controls is essential.

• Understanding of product lifecycle and backlog practices, access, provisioning, and support workflows is important.

• Familiarity with citizen development and low-code governance models, adoption and enablement strategies, and responsible AI principles is necessary.

• Strong skills in product judgment, requirements definition, roadmap and backlog management, stakeholder alignment, analytical problem-solving, documentation, facilitation, and both written and verbal communication are essential.

• Ability to utilize Azure DevOps, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 is necessary.

• Capability to coordinate distributed teams across time zones during U.S. business hours and manage multiple priorities is essential.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Preferred Microsoft certifications include PL-900, PL-200, or MS-102.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, RBAC, Microsoft Purview, sensitivity labels, and oversharing controls is preferred.
