Senior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop Golang services within a high-performance distributed architecture.

• Transition from system design to production-ready code, ensuring clean coding practices, adequate test coverage, and thorough documentation.

• Contribute to the React/Next.js frontend when it is the most efficient way to deliver value.

• Work on payment infrastructure managing approximately $1M in monthly transactions.

• Create event-driven workflows and engage in real-time data processing.

• Mentor fellow engineers and elevate the engineering standards as the team expands.

• Engage in screening calls, pair programming sessions, system design discussions, engineering excellence initiatives, and part-time trial stages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend development.

• A minimum of 3 years of expertise in Golang.

• Proficient in high-performance distributed systems.

• Capable of navigating and contributing to a React/Next.js frontend.

• Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis.

• Ideally experienced with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Possesses an architectural mindset with the ability to transition from system design to deployed code.

• Strong communication skills and a knack for mentoring others.

• Experience with payment systems, event-driven architectures, or real-time data processing is advantageous.
