Senior Product Engineer – Agentic AI, Python, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain fullstack functionalities for AI-driven tax preparation, planning, and review solutions.

• Create and execute React interfaces, TypeScript APIs, and Python backend services.

• Take ownership of features from problem identification through implementation, release, and iteration.

• Examine usage data and customer insights to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Make product and technical choices despite having incomplete requirements.

• Collaborate with engineering, AI, product, domain, and customer-facing teams.

• Ensure a clean, typed, and high-performance codebase.

• Strike a balance between product refinement and rapid deployment and learning.

• Develop software for an AI-enhanced tax platform utilized by accounting firms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience in automating workflows using agents, orchestration, and multi-agent systems; experience with chatbots or single-agent systems alone is not adequate.

• Proven experience in the long-term development of a single product or in-house product.

• At least 5 years of senior-level commercial experience in building fullstack applications using React and Python.

• A strong product-oriented mindset focused on user challenges and outcomes.

• Capability to manage topics from start to finish, addressing unclear requirements to deliver production-ready solutions.

• Comfort with making decisions amidst incomplete information and clarifying project scope.

• A pragmatic engineering approach balancing quality, velocity, and business impact.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud and/or Azure infrastructure.

• Availability and willingness to work afternoon hours, for example, 12–20.

• Readiness for on-call duty 1–2 times weekly due to collaboration with clients from the USA.
