Senior Product Engineer – 3-month contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the B2B Dashboard from start to finish.

• Enhance and develop key features within the ELSA B2B Dashboard, ensuring high standards in engineering execution and product quality.

• Lead full-stack product development utilizing Go and Python for backend services, along with Vue for frontend experiences.

• Create reliable APIs, implement business logic, and design user-facing experiences.

• Convert business and customer requirements into effective product solutions.

• Define project scope, evaluate trade-offs, and determine what to create and how it should function.

• Take charge of UI/UX quality, focusing on information architecture, interaction patterns, usability, and visual consistency.

• Leverage AI coding and development tools to navigate unfamiliar codebases, speed up implementation, resolve issues, and deliver high-quality results.

• Work in close collaboration with product, business, design, and engineering teams.

• Structure ambiguous requirements and transform them into tangible products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Product Engineer, Senior Full-stack Engineer, or similar role, with robust end-to-end product ownership.

• Solid backend engineering skills with Go and/or Python.

• Proficient frontend engineering capabilities with Vue.js or a similar modern frontend framework, with the ability to engage effectively in an established Vue codebase.

• Strong sense of product and UI/UX, with a proven track record in creating intuitive and polished user experiences.

• Experience in transforming vague business or user requirements into actionable product solutions.

• Practical, hands-on experience with AI development tools integrated into daily engineering practices.

• Excellent judgment regarding code quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Capacity to work independently and deliver impactful product enhancements within a three-month contract period.

• Ability to function with incomplete requirements, make independent decisions, and guide a feature from problem definition to production.

• Strong communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
