Senior Product Development Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the strategy, design, and introduction of new and improved insurance products

• Oversee the complete product lifecycle from concept and market analysis to regulatory approval and market launch

• Aid in driving profitable growth while ensuring that offerings align with customer needs

• Collaborate with insurance carriers and Managing General Agents to create new and updated forms and manuals

• Suggest changes in response to objections from the department of insurance

• Coordinate product launches with the Actuarial and State Filings teams

• Define and assist in shaping the product vision architecture

• Conduct competitor analyses and identify market opportunities

• Help in developing project roadmaps

• Manage the complete product development process with stakeholders, including optimization after launch

• Ensure compliance of products with state and federal regulations while maintaining necessary documentation

• Keep track of industry trends and the competitive landscape

• Collaborate with Actuarial, State Filings, and Sales teams on client product development projects

• Offer subject matter expertise and guidance to project teams

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in product development and insurance compliance

• Extensive background in insurance product development within the insurance sector

• In-depth knowledge and experience in developing proprietary and bureau-based programs (i.e., ISO and AAIS) and exceptions

• Capability to review and interpret bureau circulars

• Comprehensive understanding of Property & Casualty insurance products and their regulatory frameworks

• Demonstrated ability to assist with complex, cross-functional initiatives and achieve results in collaboration with the team

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Preferred experience with SERFF, ISOnet, Wrike, APCIA, Wolters Kluwer, and IRMI

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and produce results in a dynamic environment

• Proactive mindset with strong analytical abilities and capability to navigate ambiguity
