Senior Product Designer – TinyMCE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead cross-functional design projects from the initial discovery phase to final delivery.

• Collaborate with product management to define problems and establish design requirements.

• Test design directions through prototyping, critiques, and gathering stakeholder feedback.

• Facilitate alignment and decision-making regarding trade-offs with product, engineering, and design colleagues.

• Enhance interaction patterns, accessibility, and consistency across the editor and its features.

• Work closely with engineers to address feasibility and constraints while ensuring designs are implemented accurately.

• Manage and advance the TinyMCE design system from design sources to code implementation.

• Recognize experience gaps through customer feedback and research on industry trends and competitors.

• Define and craft solutions throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs.

• Consider the broader experiences of users, developers, and customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product design experience collaborating with software development teams, specifically on cross-functional projects.

• Proven history of transforming product goals into a UX strategy that yields measurable outcomes.

• Experience in validating design directions through prototyping and obtaining feedback from users or stakeholders.

• Strong skills in interaction design and information architecture for intricate, constraint-laden workflows.

• Comprehensive understanding of modern web capabilities and limitations, alongside the ability to comprehend complex technical concepts.

• Extensive knowledge of accessibility standards, particularly regarding keyboard and focus behavior.

• Experience in maintaining and evolving design systems and component-based designs.

• Proficient in facilitating critiques, workshops, and aligning stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Availability for at least four working hours of overlap with the CET timezone.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.
