Lead Product Designer – AI and Platform Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance platform frameworks and models that connect various Cisco products.

• Establish the vision and execution plan for AI-integrated, agent-based, and generative UI workflows.

• Develop modular and scalable enterprise platform systems that accommodate multiple products and use cases.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to align priorities and shape roadmaps.

• Provide seamless end-to-end user experiences.

• Advocate for design excellence, storytelling in design, teamwork, and uphold high design standards.

• Utilize and progress AI-assisted design and prototyping workflows.

• Investigate concepts, produce and evaluate interactive prototypes, accelerate iteration and validation, and convey intricate platform experiences.

• Uphold strong standards for usability and accessibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with over 8 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with over 6 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with more than 3 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience in designing enterprise platform experiences that interconnect multiple products or services.

• Proficient in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design within complex enterprise settings.

• Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Research teams from initial concept to final delivery.

• Ability to influence decisions across various teams or functions.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted design and/or prototyping tools in the product design workflow.

• A portfolio showcasing strong visual craftsmanship, systems thinking, scalable design methodologies, and effective storytelling.

• Preferred experience with system-level, cross-product platforms that support enterprise-scale solutions.

• Advanced skills in AI-assisted design and prototyping workflows are preferred.

• Knowledge of emerging AI and UX trends, including ethical, usable, accessible, and scalable integration, is preferred.
