Senior Product Designer – Temporary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee product design across active product streams while collaborating with Product Management on problem areas, uncertainties, and design compromises.

• Evaluate clinical and operational workflows through user research, product insights, and design assessments.

• Convert insights into enhancements for clinical efficiency and patient outcomes.

• Suggest, document, and uphold scalable components and dynamic patterns within the Figma-based design system.

• Develop system architectures for intricate data, dynamic error conditions, and diverse user environments.

• Create prototypes that range from low-fidelity wireframes to interactive high-fidelity Figma flows.

• Incorporate AI tools, including generative layout, AI-assisted content creation, and automated interaction generation.

• Lead user research and discovery independently for major projects.

• Ensure adherence to clinical safety and WCAG accessibility standards in all designs.

• Conduct competitive assessments and integrate best-in-class UX practices.

• Assess technical trade-offs in collaboration with Engineering and Data teams.

• Engage in sprint ceremonies, design evaluations, and cross-functional check-ins.

• Oversee project schedules and maintain a validated, technically feasible engineering pipeline.

• Provide actionable feedback and mentor members of the design team.

• Record ongoing projects, design system adjustments, and open decisions for transition at the conclusion of assignments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of comprehensive product design experience, preferably in health tech, digital health, or complex enterprise SaaS applications.

• Mastery of Figma, including auto-layout, advanced component variables, dynamic states, and modern plugin ecosystems.

• Proven experience in design system management, tokenization, and scaling design libraries for enterprise applications.

• Practical experience with integrating AI-driven prototyping or generative design tools.

• A solid record of employing research, data, and competitive analysis to mitigate project risks and shape product strategy.

• Strong understanding of web and mobile accessibility standards (WCAG) and clinical or data safety protocols.

• A portfolio showcasing complex workflow design, systems thinking, and quantifiable product outcomes.

• Ability to quickly grasp context and make significant contributions within an established product organization within the initial weeks.

• Exceptional collaboration and communication abilities.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and providing direction on complex issues with general guidance.

• Availability to work during standard business hours with adequate overlap across US time zones.
