Senior Product Designer – Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete mobile design process for iOS and Android, from strategic discovery to native UI delivery and implementation support.

• Conduct an AI-enhanced design thinking process utilizing AI for research synthesis, concept exploration, prototyping, and validation.

• Convert user and business insights into mobile experiences that enhance adoption, retention, and growth.

• Advance Hostaway’s mobile design system while enhancing quality, accessibility, and craftsmanship across the applications.

• Shape the mobile product strategy by identifying opportunities through research and data analysis.

• Establish a roadmap for high-impact design initiatives.

• Advocate for users in decisions regarding future product development.

• Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to influence direction and achieve outcomes.

• Design experiences for property managers, vacation rental hosts, and guests using Hostaway’s AI-driven vacation rental management platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience designing complex digital products, preferably in a SaaS environment.

• A robust portfolio that showcases shipped native mobile work for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Extensive expertise in mobile UX/UI design, information architecture, interaction design, accessibility, and platform-specific patterns.

• High level of proficiency in interactive prototyping.

• Experience utilizing Claude Code; with a focus on code as the source of truth, reducing reliance on Figma.

• Proficient in leveraging AI tools for research synthesis, ideation, prototyping, and validation.

• Expert-level knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

• Demonstrated success in collaborating with product and engineering teams to influence direction and drive outcomes without formal authority.

• A portfolio link that includes shipped native mobile app work for iOS and/or Android, ideally within a SaaS context.

• Must be physically located within the EMEA region.
