Senior Product Designer, Growth – Global

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete design process for onboarding, activation, upsells, expansion, and churn.

• Collaborate with Product and Growth teams to transform user research, support signals, and product data into design hypotheses.

• Create and implement experiments to validate these hypotheses.

• Revamp high-friction funnel moments, such as the in-app downgrade flow, trial-to-paid conversion, and first-time activation.

• Aim to decrease churn rates and enhance conversion metrics.

• Work alongside senior product designers to uphold beehiiv’s core design language while adopting a growth-focused, test-and-learn methodology.

• Engage directly with engineering to define design lift and deliver iteratively.

• Present your reasoning, rationale, and trade-offs to product and leadership teams.

• Quickly incorporate feedback into your designs.

• Assist in establishing a growth design practice from the ground up.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a product designer.

• Significant experience with growth, activation, lifecycle, or monetization interfaces.

• Proven history of designing for experimentation, including A/B tests and phased rollouts.

• Capability to iterate swiftly based on quantitative results.

• Skill in translating ambiguous, high-stakes challenges into clear, testable design perspectives.

• Exceptional communication, listening, and writing abilities.

• Proficiency in articulating design rationale and trade-offs to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.

• Ability to interpret and analyze data and derive hypotheses from it.

• Previous experience in the newsletter/media/publishing/SaaS sectors is advantageous.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance.

• Genuine enthusiasm for scaling a developing platform.

• A sense of ownership and accountability.

• Comfort in managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

• Ability to adapt to rapid iteration and frequent context switching.

• Capability to meet high standards for speed and quality.

• Proficient in navigating complex organizational dynamics.
