Senior Product Designer – Global Commercial Services Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Design user-focused experiences and interfaces that enhance the overall user journey.

• Generate design specifications for the user interfaces of company products.

• Develop storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, information architecture diagrams, and user journey maps for presentations and user testing.

• Create high-fidelity designs for development teams.

• Evaluate user research, business insights, and other data to enhance customer experiences.

• Assess suggested product modifications to ensure they meet user experience standards.

• Establish and maintain UI/UX resources, content templates, samples, and guidelines.

• Choose suitable design artifacts and deliver high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and detailed specifications.

• Cultivate user insights through user-centered methods, external analysis, research, and data interpretation.

• Communicate design choices to colleagues, partners, and design leadership.

• Enhance design processes and workflows; contribute to design systems and UX patterns.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, design leads, and cross-functional teams.

• Share ideas and expertise with fellow designers and provide mentorship.

• Guide junior designers and peers.

• Utilize design tools to produce artifacts and promote collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in or with a product design organization.

• Proficient in Figma.

• In-depth understanding of user-centered design methodologies, research, and processes.

• Capability to communicate solutions and strategies for problem-solving initiatives effectively.

• Proactive and dynamic communicator with a keen eye for detail.

• Eligibility for employment with American Express in the United States.
