This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Design user-centric experiences and interfaces for products and solutions, enhancing end-to-end user journeys.
• Develop comprehensive designs and specifications aimed at creating and improving user interfaces for company products.
• Generate storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, information architecture diagrams, and user journey maps for presentations and user testing.
• Create high-fidelity designs for implementation by development teams.
• Evaluate user research, business insights, and other data to continually enhance customer experiences.
• Review suggested product modifications or enhancements to ensure they meet user experience standards and recommend improvements.
• Create and maintain UI/UX resources, including content templates, samples, and guidelines.
• Identify relevant artifacts based on project requirements and timelines, delivering wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity specifications.
• Foster user understanding and empathy through user-centered methodologies, external analysis, research, and data.
• Present design choices to colleagues, partners, and design leadership.
• Enhance design processes and workflows; contribute to design systems and UX patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, design leads, and cross-functional partners to define requirements and execute projects.
• Share ideas and skills with fellow designers and offer mentorship.
• Mentor junior designers and peers.
• Utilize design tools to efficiently produce artifacts and promote cross-functional collaboration.
• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in a product design organization.
• Proficient in Figma.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies, research, and processes.
• Capability to present solutions and strategies for problem-solving initiatives in an engaging manner.
• Proactive and dynamic communication skills with a focus on detail.
• Knowledge of Accessibility Design.
• Experience in Customer Journey Mapping.
• Familiarity with Design Thinking.
• Insight into Product Strategy.
• Proficient in Prototyping.
• Experience in Requirements Gathering.
• Skilled in Wireframing.
• Must be eligible for employment with American Express in the United States; the company will not sponsor visas.
