Senior Product Designer – Design Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Scale and enhance the design system, focusing on high-traffic legacy experiences.

• Conduct audits of existing experiences to pinpoint component gaps, inconsistencies, and chances for consolidation.

• Collaborate with engineers to develop scalable, accessible, and production-ready components.

• Advocate for usability, accessibility, consistency, and quality throughout the product.

• Establish and communicate design system principles and decisions across the organization.

• Investigate AI-enabled workflows for component discovery, documentation, quality checks, and pattern generation.

• Minimize duplication and enhance efficiency across design and engineering.

• Measure and enhance system adoption, usability, and effectiveness.

• Work closely with Product Design, Engineering, and Product Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7 years of product design experience, including substantial design system experience.

• Demonstrated experience in building, scaling, or evolving a design system.

• Strong expertise in component-based design and reusable interaction patterns.

• Advanced skills in Figma and familiarity with contemporary design system workflows.

• Solid understanding of how design systems transition into production code.

• Experience collaborating closely with engineers and navigating trade-offs between flexibility, consistency, and scalability.

• Practical experience with AI tools and a curiosity about their application to design systems.

• Exceptional visual, interaction, communication, and systems-thinking abilities.

• Interest in AI and its influence on product design and design systems, with hands-on experience using AI tools.

• A portfolio showcasing substantial design system work.

• Experience in fintech and/or e-commerce is advantageous.
