Senior Product Designer – Design System

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Venezuela.

📋 Description

• Maintain and evolve the design system —components, tokens, patterns, and documentation— ensuring visual and functional consistency across the platform.

• Collaborate with the visual identity team to consistently reflect the brand within the product.

• Align with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, and Branding on system priorities and decisions.

• Advocate for the use of the design system within design and development teams.

• Provide support, address inquiries, and assist in the adoption process within each squad.

• Define and communicate usage and contribution guidelines.

• Audit product consistency, identify deviations, and prioritize solutions.

• Document design decisions and patterns.

• Generate ideas from complex briefs and propose evidence-based improvement hypotheses.

• Design complex end-to-end flows, anticipating errors, empty states, and edge cases.

• Utilize product metrics to validate decisions and prioritize enhancements, connecting user objectives with business outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in digital product design.

• Experience leading or co-leading a design system: governance, documentation, and adoption across teams.

• Experience maintaining or contributing to a design system: components, tokens, and visual consistency across screens.

• Proven experience designing complex end-to-end flows, with the autonomy to make design decisions.

• Ability to align various stakeholders (design, development, branding) around system decisions.

• Capacity to generate ideas from complex briefs and identify opportunities not explicitly stated.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, and shared libraries.

• Experience with design system documentation tools (Storybook, Zeroheight, or similar).

• Familiarity with Notion or Confluence for documenting guidelines and decisions.

• Experience in prototyping and product analytics.
