Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of reservations and bookings from initial problem definition to the final product delivery.

• Adapt to various consumer product surfaces as required.

• Create perspectives and prototypes for complex and undefined challenges.

• Design the entire booking process, not just the booking interface.

• Balance the needs of guests with the operational requirements of restaurants.

• Utilize behavioral data and guest feedback to inform prioritization.

• Develop rapid working prototypes using tools like Figma Make, Cursor, Replit, Magic Patterns, and Lovable.

• Present testable concepts to users within a matter of days.

• Conduct small-scale experiments and work in iterative phases.

• Maintain high standards of visual and interaction quality, including typography, spacing, hierarchy, and motion.

• Design experiences for both native mobile and responsive web platforms.

• Contribute to the development of design systems.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, research, and marketing teams.

• Elevate the quality of work from other designers through constructive critique and collaboration.

• Advocate for guest interests and ensure design choices align with business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 7+ years of experience in designing consumer or consumer-grade products, with a portfolio showcasing shipped work.

• Experience across native and responsive, guest-facing and operator-facing products.

• Proficient in AI prototyping tools and Figma.

• Strong grasp of accessibility principles.

• Solid foundation in UX principles and sound judgment.

• Experience with scheduling, availability, transactional, or marketplace flows is a plus.

• Ability to design in code or be closely aligned with engineering for effective handoffs is advantageous.

• Experience in building or managing a design system is a plus.

• Experience delivering consumer products at scale is a plus.

• Familiarity with front-end development and performance considerations is a plus.

• Passion for tinkering and developing experimental products is a plus.
