Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the comprehensive design process for intricate enterprise products utilized by engineers, operators, and administrators.

• Collaborate directly with product and engineering teams to define, design, test, and launch product experiences.

• Integrate AI tools as a fundamental component of design and prototyping workflows.

• Contribute to the evolution and enhancement of internal design workflows and processes.

• Manage the design process from discovery to delivery across one or more product domains.

• Help develop and expand the CIQ design system.

• Perform user research and usability testing with technically adept enterprise users.

• Establish and monitor design quality metrics to inform iterative improvements.

• Rapidly prototype to explore and convey concepts.

• Work in collaboration with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers throughout the entire development process.

• Enhance the design culture and processes within a small, high-responsibility team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing complex enterprise B2B product projects.

• Extensive experience in designing data-rich interfaces, multi-step workflows, admin tools, or products aimed at developers.

• Strong skills in both interaction design and visual design, with a proven ability to excel in both areas.

• Practical experience in user research, usability testing, and evaluating design outcomes.

• Proficiency in using Figma.

• Regular use of AI tools in design and prototyping processes.

• Capability to work autonomously, make decisions, and act swiftly without waiting for guidance.

• Documented experience as a product designer on technically complex B2B or enterprise software applications.

• Portfolio required, illustrating completed product work and the rationale behind design choices.

• Experience working within small design teams or serving as the lead designer for a specific product area.

• Background in a growth-stage technology company, ideally within the domains of developer tools, data, infrastructure, analytics, security, or a similar technical field.

• No specific degree is required; demonstrated skills and experience are the primary focus.
