Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete product design process from defining problems and exploring solutions to prototyping, launching, and refining offerings within PadSplit’s dual-sided housing marketplace.

• Transform complex workflows, regulations, and marketplace dynamics into straightforward, user-friendly experiences.

• Conduct interviews, observations, and gather insights from both members and hosts.

• Collaborate with product managers to pinpoint opportunities, craft solutions, and align customer needs with measurable business results.

• Utilize data, customer feedback, prototypes, and experiments to validate assumptions and enhance user experiences.

• Work alongside product managers, engineers, marketers, operations, and data collaborators.

• Create responsive, high-quality interfaces in Figma, employing thoughtful components, interaction patterns, and PadSplit’s design framework.

• Design and prototype smart workflows and AI-driven features in partnership with engineering, machine learning, and AI teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in designing digital products, preferably within complex acquisition funnels or marketplace settings.

• Strong research skills and a willingness to engage directly with users to identify pain points and opportunities.

• Capability to link design decisions to metrics, revenue, and real estate economics such as rent, ROI, and occupancy rates.

• Experience in designing multi-step processes, intricate service environments, and workflows that address edge cases.

• Proficiency in Figma and interaction design for both web and mobile platforms, with a solid grasp of systems thinking and component reuse.

• Knowledge of A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and the ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data.

• Proven track record in designing AI-powered features and utilizing modern AI tools within the design process.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and complete an I-9/E-Verify process.
