Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the team's comprehension of integrated digital/physical service pathways and their influence on the digital product.

• Oversee UX and UI design initiatives throughout the discovery, design, and validation stages.

• Formulate and implement testing and experimentation strategies, which include prototype testing, user interviews, and structured feedback mechanisms.

• Develop, enhance, and iterate interactive prototypes to validate ideas and guide product direction.

• Convert intricate healthcare data, insights, and outputs into clear visual representations and narratives.

• Craft experiences that enable users to comprehend and act upon healthcare information, metrics, and recommendations.

• Work in partnership with product, engineering, clinical, and business stakeholders to integrate research findings and shape product recommendations.

• Utilize both qualitative and quantitative feedback to enhance user experiences and inform design choices.

• Articulate design rationale, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ensure that designs comply with the design system, adhere to Our Future Health’s ethical standards, and meet WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility requirements.

• Collaborate with the team to influence the product roadmap and priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Product Designer in digital product environments.

• Proven ability to collaborate closely with content designers and user researchers throughout the end-to-end design process.

• Experience working collaboratively in extensive multi-team service delivery projects that involve both internal teams and third-party providers.

• Proven capability to design and work through uncertainty.

• A portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX/UI design skills.

• Proficiency in product design and digital whiteboarding tools such as Figma and Miro.

• Experience in translating user research findings into actionable design insights.

• Experience operating within cross-functional product teams and agile delivery settings.

• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles.

• Desirable: Proven skills in service design and/or experience analyzing services in relation to products.

• Desirable: Previous experience in designing products, platforms, or services for healthcare, government, or other service delivery organizations.

• Desirable: Familiarity with designing for regulated environments.

• Desirable: Experience working iteratively through pilot programs or test-and-learn environments, leveraging emerging evidence to refine designs and guide product direction.
