Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Define the user experience and visual identity of Molecule’s web and mobile applications.

• Convert product objectives and intricate requirements into user-friendly, intuitive interfaces.

• Design and enhance interfaces for Molecule’s primary applications from initial concept to launch.

• Manage and expand Molecule’s scalable and accessible Design System and component library.

• Produce polished, pixel-perfect UI components that align with the brand identity.

• Create component documentation, UI specifications, and usage guidelines.

• Collaborate with Frontend Engineers during implementation to maintain design integrity.

• Implement WCAG standards and UX best practices.

• Develop interactive prototypes, frequently utilizing AI-powered tools, and validate ideas with users.

• Refine designs based on user feedback, data insights, and evolving product requirements.

• Lead and facilitate design frameworks, brainstorming sessions, presentations, and stakeholder design choices.

• Contribute to Molecule’s overall visual identity across products and communication channels.

• Collaborate with external design partners on brand assets as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in product or UI design, preferably with complex products.

• Proven experience in building and scaling design systems and hybrid component libraries across teams.

• A portfolio showcasing component libraries and comprehensive UI documentation.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including practical management of design systems.

• Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks.

• Excellent interaction design capabilities for both mobile and desktop platforms.

• Frequent use of AI tools and AI-enhanced workflows.

• Effective communication skills with designers, engineers, and leadership teams.

• Familiarity with design tokens and front-end design implementation is a plus.

• Understanding of user testing methodologies and iterative research practices is advantageous.

• Experience collaborating with external design or branding agencies is beneficial.

• A background in web3, biotech, or decentralized science is a plus.
