Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop solutions for a primary product line while collaborating with Product, Technology, and Research teams.

• Act as a key influencer and intermediary between Product Management and Technology teams.

• Spearhead the development of new product features and enhancements to existing functionalities.

• Oversee the design process for features and enhancements from the initial idea through to implementation.

• Grasp long-term visions and objectives and execute components of that vision.

• Direct user research initiatives and synthesize findings to guide design choices.

• Produce high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, workflows, and visual designs that align with the design system.

• Collaborate with agile development teams to ensure precise and effective implementation.

• Champion user-centered design principles and educate stakeholders and colleagues on design thinking methodologies.

• Contribute to and shape the design system and the overall design process.

• Represent customer needs by clearly articulating their goals and challenges.

• Engage in team ceremonies.

• Facilitate design studios and ideation sessions.

• Investigate new technologies and design trends to foster innovation in product design.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in product design or similar roles.

• Proven expertise in addressing complex design challenges and delivering meaningful design solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to rapidly understand intricate product areas.

• Strong knowledge of design systems, information architecture, and interaction design principles.

• Excellent communication abilities to influence stakeholders and propel design initiatives.

• Capacity to balance strategic thought with tactical execution, aligning design solutions with business objectives and user needs.

• Ability to distill discussions and quickly prototype concepts.

• Proficient storytelling and reasoning skills that persuade effectively.

• Advanced skills in Figma, Adobe Suite, and other contemporary design tools.

• Basic understanding of business concepts related to SaaS and client operations.

• Strong collaboration and facilitation abilities, including the creation and management of group workshops.

• Exceptional problem-solving and creative thinking capabilities.

• Attention to detail.

• Demonstrated empathy for users and a solid understanding of their needs, motivations, and challenges.

• Ability to advocate for and carry out research projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field is advantageous.

• Experience in the financial services sector is a plus.
