This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of the design for key features from beginning to end for both the worker and facility applications, encompassing research, problem definition, specifications, and launch.
• Act as the principal voice for user experience within the team, clearly articulating ambiguous problems.
• Collaborate with product managers to plan and prioritize tasks based on user requirements and business considerations.
• Establish a high standard for visual and interaction quality across all products.
• Create detailed, high-fidelity prototypes that illustrate how experiences look, move, and feel.
• Design within the established design system and contribute new components and patterns to the codebase.
• Engage with customers regularly to gather insights and utilize research and data to inform product experiences.
• Integrate AI into research synthesis, competitor analysis, concept generation, copywriting, and prototype development.
• Maintain responsibility for quality throughout all project phases and for the work that is shipped.
• Work collaboratively with product teams, engineering, other designers, and customers to enhance the experiences of worker and workplace applications.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product design.
• A portfolio showcasing completed work that highlights strong visual and interaction skills, along with comprehensive end-to-end design thinking.
• Proven experience in managing a product area independently, covering everything from problem identification to launch and subsequent iterations.
• Exceptional attention to detail in typography, layout, hierarchy, color, spacing, motion, and interaction.
• Proficiency in Figma and AI-driven prototyping tools.
• Experience designing for iOS, Android, and web platforms.
• Familiarity with working within and contributing to a design system.
• Experience collaborating with designers and engineers to implement changes in the design system through code.
• Strong systems thinking ability for interconnected flows and intricate existing systems.
• Experience engaging directly with customers and utilizing research and product data to guide design choices.
• Capability to articulate design reasoning and influence product and engineering decisions.
• Excellent, proactive written and verbal communication skills; ability to present work effectively.
• Proficiency with AI tools and a proven history of leveraging them to enhance design processes.
• Willingness to accept feedback and incorporate critiques.
