Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of comprehensive product design projects that encompass visual, interaction, motion, and brand integration.

• Craft thoughtful, high-quality mobile experiences centered around user needs.

• Rapidly prototype using Figma and AI/low-code tools.

• Effectively present design concepts to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

• Collaborate closely during engineering implementation, quality assurance, and post-launch adjustments.

• Leverage data, user research, and performance metrics to inform and refine designs.

• Advocate for system-level thinking and advance Calm’s design system.

• Manage multiple projects while upholding high standards of execution.

• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing teams.

• Set the benchmark for product design excellence across iOS, Android, and web platforms.

• Serve as a design thought leader, establishing best practices in the field.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 5 years focused on consumer mobile (and web) applications.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma.

• Familiarity with AI and low-code prototyping tools, such as Replit, Lovable, and Claude.

• Able to implement minor code changes independently, without engineering assistance.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting user testing and research.

• Strong understanding of interaction design, visual design, and usability best practices.

• Proven track record of designing and launching mobile applications at scale.

• Capable of working autonomously while contributing to a broader design vision and strategy.
