Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for the design of essential product flows, overseeing the process from discovery to delivery with minimal supervision.

• Convert complex and unclear requirements into user-friendly and intuitive experiences.

• Produce high-quality outputs such as flows, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications that are ready for implementation.

• Utilize visual and interaction design expertise to create polished and scalable solutions.

• Ensure compliance with design systems, accessibility standards, and established frameworks.

• Uphold a high standard of craftsmanship while enhancing quality and consistency.

• Collaborate across functions to identify problems, develop solutions, and prioritize tasks.

• Contribute to the alignment of UX strategy and roadmap.

• Leverage data and research to guide decisions and validate solutions.

• Balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints effectively.

• Identify risks and opportunities, addressing or escalating issues as necessary.

• Provide recommendations to influence product direction positively.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional partners.

• Articulate design decisions, trade-offs, and rationale to stakeholders clearly.

• Facilitate consensus through workflows, prototypes, and user stories.

• Partner with Engineering to comprehend constraints and ensure quality implementation.

• Collaborate with Product and Project Management to plan and execute outcomes successfully.

• Engage in critiques, reviews, and product demonstrations.

• Assist in the evolution of team practices, workflows, and standards.

• Advocate for user-centered design principles.

• Present work, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership effectively.

• Mentor and support junior designers in their development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or a related domain.

• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Expertise in Figma, including components, variants, and library utilization.

• Proven experience in working with and contributing to established design systems.

• Background in designing enterprise or transactional systems (e.g., complex workflows, internal tools).

• A strong portfolio showcasing the end-to-end design process and delivered outcomes.

• Experience working closely with Product Managers and Engineers to produce solutions.

• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear and user-centered experiences.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Comfortable presenting work and rationale to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

• Capable of navigating ambiguity in complex environments with a solution-focused approach.

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities.

• Demonstrated capacity to take ownership of projects and operate with increasing autonomy.
