Senior Product Designer, AI Registry

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the user experience, ensuring delight and quality of interaction throughout the customer journey or product surface.

• Craft experiences for parents as they explore products, receive gifts, and navigate early parenthood on both web and native mobile platforms.

• Design and develop intuitive, thoroughly tested, and enjoyable experiences that drive positive outcomes.

• Establish and communicate standards for quality, delight, and product excellence.

• Plan and conduct user research while creating feedback loops through testing and Babylist communities.

• Contribute to and enhance Babylist’s design system, reusable components, and interaction patterns.

• Develop AI-native workflows for research synthesis, rapid prototyping, production code, and the evolution of the design system.

• Write, implement, refine, and perfect production frontend code, including transitions, micro-interactions, and various states such as loading, empty, and error.

• Support AI-enhanced workflows that empower non-designers to contribute to the experience layer.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and analysts to advance high-impact projects.

• Create repeatable systems that enable the team to deliver faster without compromising on quality.

• A portfolio showcasing shipped consumer product work across web and native mobile.

• Proven experience as a proficient product designer, hands-on researcher, and AI-enabled creator.

• Capability to plan and conduct both generative and evaluative research.

• Proficiency in utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.

• Strong product judgment with an understanding of interaction patterns and design conventions.

• Ability to rapidly create interactive prototypes.

• Competence in writing production frontend code.

• Daily experience utilizing AI in design and product work.

• Skill in instrumenting work and tracking product metrics.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, analysts, and fellow designers.
