This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Oversee and provide support for the daily procurement activities utilizing Coupa.
• Evaluate and enhance Coupa workflows, approval chains, catalogs, and transaction processing.
• Assist with procurement processes from purchase requests to purchase orders and invoice routing.
• Organize supplier onboarding efforts and manage accompanying documentation.
• Keep procurement records and necessary documentation updated in Coupa or authorized repositories.
• Address stakeholder inquiries regarding requisitions, invoices, approvals, user access, notifications, delegates, and Coupa functionality.
• Generate operational reports, spend visibility outputs, workflow metrics, and management insights.
• Detect system gaps, control weaknesses, and process inefficiencies, and propose enhancements.
• Aid in Coupa implementation and improvement initiatives related to workflows, analytics, guided buying, catalogs, and procurement technology.
• Educate and assist internal users on procurement processes, Coupa usage, policies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Accounts Payable, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure governance and audit readiness by verifying that transactions, approvals, vendor records, and documentation are comprehensive and compliant with policies.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by Procurement leadership.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Information Systems, or a related field is mandatory.
• Over 10 years of pertinent experience in procurement operations, procure-to-pay, purchasing systems support, accounts payable operations, or a related procurement function.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Coupa in a business or administrative role.
• Proven experience in leading Coupa implementation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) assessments across Coupa modules.
• Background in supporting Coupa procurement transactions, including requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, invoices, supplier onboarding, and document management.
• Knowledge of procurement categories and functions, particularly competitive bidding processes.
• Familiarity with procurement in the indirect space.
• Thorough understanding of Coupa functionality, including requisitioning, purchase orders, invoice routing, approval workflows, supplier onboarding touchpoints, user roles, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong comprehension of end-to-end P2P processes.
• Working knowledge of procurement governance, documentation standards, auditability, and segregation of duties.
• Capability to analyze process flow, identify bottlenecks, and enhance operational efficiency through workflow, automation, and system configuration improvements.
• Strong reporting and analytical abilities, including operational KPI tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Preferred: relevant procurement, operations, or Coupa-related certification.
• Preferred: experience with Coupa enhancements, implementation rollouts, workflow optimization, catalog improvements, analytics, or module expansion.
• Preferred: experience with formal procurement policies, governance, and audit requirements.
• Preferred: familiarity with source-to-contract and supplier lifecycle processes.
• Preferred: procurement experience in insurance or finance-related sectors.
• Knowledge of Coupa Source-to-Pay (S2P), Coupa Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Coupa Contract Lifecycle Management (CLMA), Coupa Supplier Information Management (SIM), Coupa Navi AI, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), and Jira.
