This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing strategies, RFP development, supplier negotiations, and cost analysis activities.
• Acquire goods, materials, and services while ensuring advantageous commercial terms and adherence to company policies.
• Prepare and handle purchase orders, pricing agreements, and procurement documentation.
• Examine supplier pricing, financial data, and market trends to inform sourcing decisions and drive cost reduction initiatives.
• Create bid packages and assess supplier proposals for new business opportunities.
• Monitor supplier and contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and business requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, and Program Management to resolve complex supply chain issues and address customer inquiries regarding order status, modifications, and cancellations.
• Identify, mitigate, and minimize supply chain risks to avert production disruptions and critical line stoppages while enhancing supplier delivery performance.
• Manage supplier relationships by expediting deliveries, resolving shortages, driving continuous performance improvements, and supporting business objectives.
• Prepare procurement metrics, presentations, and executive-level reports while assisting with audits, recovery plans, leadership reviews, and traveling up to 10–15% as business needs dictate.
• A University Degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Proven professional or educational experience in English and Spanish communication (both verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Prior experience with SAP and procurement processes.
• Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing sectors.
• Knowledge of contract terms and conditions, supplier performance management, and FAR/DFAR regulations.
• APICS or ISM certifications (CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or CPM) are advantageous.
