Senior Process Improvement Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct research on best business practices both internally and externally to establish benchmark data.

• Define and spearhead business improvement initiatives that align with business strategies and operational priorities.

• Gather and analyze process data to recommend practices aimed at enhancing member experience, productivity, efficiency, and reducing costs.

• Assess how information technologies can facilitate business process re-engineering.

• Design, implement, and refine business processes across designated areas.

• Manage and deliver a portfolio of process improvement initiatives that achieve measurable annual cost savings.

• Evaluate process effectiveness by utilizing industry benchmarks and aligning with business strategy.

• Collaborate with operations leadership to quantify initiatives that enhance cost, quality, and outcomes.

• Persuade leadership and cross-functional partners using data-driven insights and effective storytelling.

• Develop projects employing DMAIC, PDCA, Kaizen, or other relevant process improvement methodologies.

• Identify potential project risks and escalate issues as necessary.

• Monitor project performance metrics concerning cost, efficiency, and quality objectives.

• Validate and report on financial impact, including both hard and soft savings.

• Indirectly lead cross-functional teams to achieve and maintain project objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related quantitative field is necessary.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, or operations management is essential.

• Proven track record of planning and implementing extensive process improvement initiatives at both tactical and strategic levels.

• Demonstrated capability to influence and motivate individuals across various levels of an organization.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze technical processes, business processes, and raw data.

• Expertise in project management, program management, problem-solving, and issue mitigation.

• Proficiency in developing and interpreting financial metrics, cost modeling, and forecasting.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a virtual team.

• Home internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds is required.

• Capability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
