Senior Process Control Engineer – Fiberline

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Aid mills in maintaining the operation of control systems in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner.

• Offer troubleshooting and support for daily manufacturing processes.

• Advise on the selection and implementation of process control technologies and strategies for manufacturing operations.

• Collaborate with local operations and process control teams to enhance current process control assets and overall process performance.

• Design, program, and adjust control strategies within existing control systems.

• Seek engineering solutions to address equipment deficiencies.

• Provide support for both large and small capital projects as a corporate subject matter expert.

• Work closely with Consumer Products, Cellulose, and Containerboard continuous manufacturing operations across mills in the United States, with an emphasis on Fiberline process areas.

• Travel frequently to various manufacturing locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Chemical, Electrical, or Paper Science Engineering.

• At least 5 years of professional experience with DCS-based systems, encompassing troubleshooting, configuration, and design.

• Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.

• Experience in the fiberline sector of a pulp and paper mill is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience with DCS-based control systems, including troubleshooting, configuration, and design is preferred.

• Familiarity with Honeywell TDC and Experion or Emerson Delta-V is preferred.

• Must be able to pass a drug test where required by state law.
