This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and manage portfolios for lending services.
• Assist banking and lending specialists, as well as relationship managers.
• Conduct proactive credit analysis, structuring, decision-making, and portfolio oversight.
• Create business proposals, client presentations, materials for client meetings, account-opening documentation, and communications with clients.
• Address client inquiries and concerns while offering sales and service support.
• Evaluate client solutions and credit structures, recommending best practices.
• Assist in strategic initiatives and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Execute risk, financial, and profitability analyses, providing insights and recommendations.
• Track performance, tackle issues, and generate regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Implement and oversee changes in procedures and policies.
• Manage operational audits, controls, and daily portfolio administration.
• Set up and maintain accounts, collateralization, and necessary documentation.
• Facilitate funding or underwrite loan applications based on specialization.
• Confirm and process loan drawdowns, ensuring all required security documentation is complete.
• Review overdrafts and monitoring reports.
• Conduct margin and covenant tests.
• Maintain, prepare, and register security collateral.
• Monitor security renewals, registrations, expiry dates, and the integrity of lending documentation.
• Report any irregularities and discrepancies.
• Collect applicable fees while participating in audits and compliance reviews.
• Comply with conduct, ethical standards, security protocols, safeguarding measures, banking, investment, lending, and risk management requirements.
• Generally, 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• A post-secondary degree in a related field of study or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Credit qualification as per established credit qualification processes, policies, and procedures.
• Experience in commercial loan and underwriting within a financial services setting.
• Extensive knowledge of personal and commercial credit, non-credit products, and monitoring/operational processes and applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of loan and security documentation, including registration and renewal routines.
• Technical proficiency acquired through education and/or professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional collaboration and teamwork abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective influencing skills.
• Proficient in data-driven decision-making.
• Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry is mandatory.
• A criminal background check and credit history evaluation are required.
