Senior Principal Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer teams to define project scopes.

• Facilitate customer interactions, design tailored solutions, and oversee project scope, timelines, and delivery.

• Perform Best Practice Reviews in customer-facing settings.

• Offer recommendations and address scope adjustments.

• Create rapid proofs-of-concept that showcase future-state solutions.

• Leverage AI to create repeatable tools, processes, and practices aimed at enhancing efficiency and profitability.

• Pursue opportunities for expansion.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary contact for clients.

• Share best practices and provide informal mentoring to colleagues.

• Operate as an individual contributor instead of a team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in professional services or related fields, implementing ONESOURCE Direct Tax solutions.

• Extensive ONESOURCE Direct Tax knowledge from the start.

• Practical experience utilizing AI, such as Claude, to develop customer solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of ASC 740 tax provision processes.

• Familiarity with ONESOURCE Tax Provision or ONESOURCE Income Tax, Workpapers, and Data Import.

• Experience with ONESOURCE DataFlow.

• Proficiency with ONESOURCE APIs.

• Knowledge of Power Automate, Alteryx, KNIME, or similar tools for automating ONESOURCE and tax-related tasks.

• Experience with Power BI or other API-enabled dashboard tools.

• Advanced skills in Excel-based tax workbooks, including Power Query, OData connections, dynamic arrays, and Data Validation.

• Bachelor’s degree in taxation, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

• Strong communication abilities.
