This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with executive sponsors and functional leadership to pinpoint enterprise-scale AI opportunities.
• Articulate AI opportunities with the necessary financial, strategic, and technical rigor for investment decisions.
• Prioritize and promote AI initiatives across the portfolio based on their value, feasibility, risk, and strategic alignment.
• Provide recommendations and executive briefings that are ready for Gate 1.
• Contribute to decisions related to architecture, trade-off analysis, and solution design for intricate initiatives.
• Establish reusable AI patterns, engagement models, and reference architectures.
• Influence enterprise decisions on building, buying, or adapting solutions while ensuring accountability for scale, security, and responsible AI.
• Set benchmarks for execution-ready use cases, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Review and mentor Principal AIBPs and initiative teams on product thinking, user value, viability, and iterative processes.
• Lead or supervise complex POCs, pilots, and early production efforts.
• Model specification-driven and agentic workflows while normalizing AI-first development practices.
• Guide business units through the AI lifecycle, from discovery to value realization and transition to operational state.
• Co-manage portfolio initiatives with PMO and AI Enablement, including prioritization, value tracking, and escalation pathways.
• Mentor Principal AIBPs and assist in hiring, onboarding, and capability enhancement.
• Communicate progress, risks, and impacts to C-suite and technology executives.
• Advocate for enterprise AI frameworks, governance, and best practices.
• A technical foundation demonstrated through at least two of the following: formal education in engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field; professional training in AI/ML; hands-on experience in building AI or data-intensive systems.
• Proven experience operating in an AI-first manner using modern agentic development tools.
• Senior product management, product engineering, or technical program leadership experience, from executive narratives to portfolio outcomes and large-scale shipped solutions.
• A solid understanding of what constitutes great products.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and data science leaders as a technical peer and thought partner.
• Financial and analytical skills to evaluate portfolio-level value, trade-offs, and execution risks.
• Executive presence and credibility with C-suite, CIO, and engineering leadership.
• Typically 12+ years of relevant experience, including leading AI or digital initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience mentoring senior individual contributors or leading a group of technical product leaders.
• Experience across various business units, domains, or enterprise portfolio governance is preferred.
• Familiarity with LLM application design, enterprise AI architecture patterns, and responsible AI principles at scale is preferred.
• A proven track record of advancing multiple AI initiatives from POC to production and transitioning ownership to business operations is preferred.
• Experience contributing to operating models, playbooks, or COE standards that have been adopted beyond a single team is preferred.
