This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Deliver pre-sales technical and functional assistance for intricate products, applications, and solutions.
• Design innovative solutions and engage with potential clients.
• Offer selective post-sales support to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Present and effectively communicate HPE Networking solutions in comparison to competitors.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities and convert leads into active engagements.
• Consult on campus and distributed branch network solutions.
• Support opportunity pipelines and facilitate sales processes to closure.
• Lead teams and work together on customized solutions.
• Collect client data to customize solutions and foresee appropriate delivery methods.
• Manage account and partner duties within the assigned territory.
• Recommend hardware, software, and services to meet complex customer requirements.
• Contribute to bids, proposals, and customer presentations.
• Provide technical, product, technology, and sales support.
• Manage vendor partners and demand-generation events.
• Maintain account relationships, sales pipelines, and forecasts.
• Offer technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Evaluate applications of company products to fulfill customer needs.
• Prepare product specifications along with design and implementation specifications.
• Develop proofs of concept, rapid prototypes, and product demonstrations.
• Provide consultation, product capability assessments, and validation.
• Reside in the Rhode Island territory.
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years with a Master’s degree; or substantial experience in networking, technical, and pre-sales roles.
• Extensive knowledge of L2/L3 networking, routing, WLAN, LAN, and WAN.
• Proficient in WLAN, Switching, and NAC/AAA skills.
• Full-stack networking expertise (Layer 1–7).
• Exceptional executive-level presentation skills and the ability to influence others.
• Strategic relationship-building capabilities.
• Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder at the time of hire.
• Strong oral and written communication, organizational, presentation, prioritization, and interpersonal skills at a career level.
• Customer-centric approach to designing and managing solutions for complex technical challenges.
• Proficient in interfacing with senior levels of both internal and external organizations.
• Capacity to mentor junior Systems Engineers.
• Industry expert-level Aruba certifications are highly recommended; Juniper expert-level certifications are preferred.
