Senior Presales Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development of a comprehensive API strategy throughout its entire lifecycle, which includes design, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, enforcement of security policies, and eventual retirement.

• Collaborate with C-level executives and Enterprise Architects to assess the ROI of adopting API-first strategies, focusing on security, scalability, and the productization of data.

• Provide guidance on enterprise security protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.

• Design and showcase Developer Portals for both internal and external API discovery and utilization.

• Facilitate coordination among cross-functional internal experts for critical Proofs of Concept and intricate RFI/RFP technical responses.

• Illustrate the convergence of API Management, iPaaS, and MDM.

• Offer insights on data flows utilizing ETL for data movement and MDM for context, ensuring secure, high-integrity APIs create the enterprise Golden Record.

• Lead intricate technical engagements across North America as a strategic architect for API governance and digital ecosystems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in API Lifecycle Management and the deployment of high-performance API Gateways in complex, distributed settings.

• Profound technical knowledge of contemporary identity providers and security frameworks.

• Insight into risk mitigation strategies at the network edge.

• Demonstrated capacity to design solutions that integrate Microservices, Service Mesh, and Event-Driven Architectures (EDA).

• Proven success in driving technical alignment within a sales context.

• Outstanding ability to present to executive-level stakeholders.

• Solid understanding of the complete data lifecycle.

• Experience with or familiarity with ETL/ELT data integration patterns and Master Data Management principles.

• Advanced expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP ecosystems, and enterprise API suites like MuleSoft, Apigee, or Kong.

• Preferred certifications include AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Architecture, CISSP/CCSP, or TOGAF.

• Specialized knowledge in API Lifecycle Management and the security/orchestration of AI-driven APIs and LLMs.

• Acquainted with data integration platforms such as Boomi Integration, Informatica, or Talend, as well as MDM solutions.
