Senior Presales Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of comprehensive API strategies throughout their entire lifecycle, including documentation with OpenAPI/Swagger, enforcement of security policies, and eventual retirement.

• Provide guidance to C-level executives and Enterprise Architects regarding the ROI of API-first strategies, as well as aspects of security, scalability, and data productization.

• Act as a subject matter expert on technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and enterprise security governance.

• Design and showcase Developer Portals for both internal and external API discovery and usage.

• Collaborate with cross-functional internal specialists for high-stakes Proofs of Concept and technical RFI/RFP submissions.

• Illustrate the convergence of API Management, iPaaS, and MDM, orchestrating data flows to ensure the delivery of secure, high-integrity enterprise Golden Records via APIs.

• Lead intricate technical engagements in North America as a principal architect and trusted advisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in API Lifecycle Management and the deployment of high-performance API Gateways in complex, distributed settings.

• Profound technical knowledge of modern identity providers and security frameworks.

• Experience in crafting solutions that incorporate Microservices, Service Mesh, and Event-Driven Architectures (EDA).

• Proven ability to drive technical alignment within a sales context.

• Exceptional presentation skills for engaging with executive-level audiences.

• Strong comprehension of the complete data lifecycle, including ETL/ELT processes and Master Data Management principles.

• Advanced expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments and enterprise API platforms such as MuleSoft, Apigee, or Kong (preferred).

• Professional certifications in cloud architecture, information security, or enterprise frameworks like CISSP, CCSP, or TOGAF (preferred).

• Knowledge in API Lifecycle Management and the security/orchestration of AI-driven APIs and LLMs (preferred).

• Familiarity with data integration platforms and MDM solutions (preferred).
