Senior PreSales Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to promote Provenir’s risk-decisioning platform.

• Perform customer discovery to uncover needs, challenges, and pain points.

• Develop storytelling demonstrations and presentations that address customer challenges.

• Clearly communicate the benefits and potential value of proposed solutions.

• Assist sales cycles through Q&A sessions and workshops.

• Provide business and technical content for customer RFP responses.

• Facilitate design and architecture workshops to create solution blueprints.

• Work with Professional Services on solution handoffs, delivery planning, and implementation strategies.

• Collaborate with Data Science teams on AI/ML modeling strategies and outcomes.

• Create and maintain demonstration environments configured for client industry use cases.

• Organize and support webinars, conferences, and speaking engagements.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in credit risk, fraud prevention, and financial crime detection for clients and internal teams.

• Guide clients on the value and unique aspects of Provenir’s platform and ecosystem.

• Address objections and functional gaps raised by prospects with internal stakeholders.

• Document sales process artifacts, customer needs, and solution alternatives.

• Share content and documentation to enhance team education, demonstrations, and process improvement.

• Participate in internal enablement and onboarding sessions.

• Relay customer insights to Product Managers for roadmap development.

• Report directly to the Vice President of Pre-Sales.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience supporting or collaborating with sales teams, preferably in a software vendor or consulting setting.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry, especially in decisioning; familiarity with Credit Risk, Application Fraud, Financial Crime and Sanctions, Portfolio Management, and/or Collections.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, build trust, and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Exceptional planning and organizational skills; capable of managing priorities across multiple workstreams.

• Strong documentation and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in college-level writing, editing, and proofreading.

• Self-motivated team player who can work independently.

• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn.

• Preferred: experience with enterprise decisioning technologies, including a basic understanding of model building, programming, and integration patterns.

• Preferred: previous experience in software Presales or implementations.

• Preferred: familiarity with business intelligence reporting tools, analytics, and data-driven decisioning platforms.

• Preferred: knowledge of industry best practices in credit risk, fraud detection, and AI-driven financial services solutions.

• Must reside in South Africa.

• Some travel required, including occasional international travel.
