Senior PR Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and implement executive communication strategies that align with business goals and brand objectives.

• Craft and enhance executive messaging, narratives, and positioning statements.

• Spot opportunities for thought leadership, including media appearances, interviews, podcasts, speaking events, and industry accolades.

• Foster relationships with journalists, media organizations, podcast hosts, and pertinent industry communities.

• Produce communication materials such as media pitches, briefing documents, articles, and executive content.

• Assist in the preparation for interviews, public engagements, and external interactions.

• Monitor relevant industry discussions and pinpoint opportunities for executive commentary.

• Track communications activities, opportunities, and results while offering recommendations to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in executive communications, public relations, corporate communications, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives, founders, entrepreneurs, investors, or other public-facing leaders.

• Exceptional writing, storytelling, and message development abilities.

• Experience in creating thought leadership content and formulating external communication strategies.

• Strong grasp of media relations and executive reputation management.

• Capability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

• Experience in supporting CEOs, C-suite executives, authors, or industry leaders.

• Background in business, finance, investment, technology, leadership, or professional services.

• Proven success in securing media coverage, podcast opportunities, speaking engagements, or executive profiles.

• Experience in agency, consultancy, or senior in-house communications roles.
