Senior PR Manager – Remote, Berlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create customized public relations strategies for both B2B and B2C clients

• Obtain media coverage for pertinent topics in leading media outlets

• Oversee professional communication with clients

• Engage in proactive planning through quarterly strategies and key performance indicators

• Foster enduring relationships with clients

• Actively contribute to and enhance client topics on an ongoing basis

• Offer advice to clients as a trusted advisor at the executive level

• Exchange knowledge and provide as well as receive peer feedback

• Utilize the internal AI toolkit for research, preparation of pitches, and topic exploration

• Establish and nurture strong connections with journalists at major media outlets throughout the DACH region and Europe

• Conduct tailored editorial pitches via phone with relevant journalists

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of hands-on experience in public relations, preferably in an agency setting

• Demonstrated success in independently securing media coverage for clients in prominent German national and trade media

• Strong skills in consulting and advising

• Capability to analyze target audiences and market trends

• Skill in converting business objectives into actionable PR strategies with measurable initiatives

• Extensive network of journalists

• Proficient in establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with journalists

• Active monitoring of the news landscape to identify media-worthy topics

• Self-motivated work ethic with a commitment to team integration

• Practical use of AI tools

• Proficient in German at C2 level

• Strong professional communication skills in English

• Residing in Germany
