Senior Portfolio Consultant – Mountain or Pacific Time Zones

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement investment strategies for intricate portfolio transitions and high-net-worth clients.

• Act as a primary contact for newly integrated firms adapting to the investment platform and models of Mercer Advisors.

• Create investment deliverables for potential clients to foster organic growth.

• Collaborate with Wealth Advisors, Operations, Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Trading teams.

• Articulate the investment philosophy and the range of available investment strategies.

• Offer proactive and timely updates regarding portfolio implementations.

• Lead presentations on diverse investment topics for Wealth Advisor teams.

• Assist new Portfolio Consultants in building essential skills within the investment platform.

• Align Advisor implementation objectives with suitable investment strategies.

• Compose, support, and review analytics, proposals, and deliverables for Wealth Management Teams.

• Oversee standardized workflows and investment procedures.

• Coordinate process enhancements with key central teams.

• Manage multiple portfolio implementations to meet or surpass Service Level Agreements.

• Review implementations for alignment with target portfolio goals.

• Supervise implementations for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

• Provide insights to enhance client portfolios and improve the client experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (ideally in Business, Economics, Psychology, or Finance).

• CFP® and/or Series 65 certification required.

• CFA or advanced degree preferred.

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in the financial industry.

• Familiarity with Orion and Morningstar is preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced data analytics, is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and experience.

• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a highly collaborative approach.

• Organized and detail-oriented.

• Capacity to manage and prioritize numerous tasks.

• Availability during standard business hours Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional early or late hours.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple time-sensitive projects with high accuracy and attention to detail.

• Dedicated home office workspace or professional office setting free from interruptions.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
