Senior Consultant

📋 Description

• Act as the technical lead for the implementation, expansion, and complex configuration of ENGIN.

• Convert client challenges related to assets, reliability, costs, and planning into ENGIN data models, workflows, and analytical configurations.

• Create scalable solutions that balance the specific needs of clients with product standards and long-term maintainability.

• Serve as a reliable technical advisor to clients regarding asset analytics, planning methodologies, and ENGIN best practices.

• Oversee the discovery and validation of requirements, data ingestion, transformation and validation, ENGIN configuration, user training, and enablement.

• Collaborate with client asset management, engineering, IT, and data teams to ensure successful implementation.

• Ensure that implementations adhere to the agreed-upon scope, timelines, and quality standards.

• Work alongside client practitioners, analysts, and subject-matter experts to understand asset management and decision-making workflows.

• Identify discrepancies between current workflows and the desired future-state analytics.

• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and collaborative work sessions.

• Assist the Client Success Manager during client discussions, escalations, and roadmap dialogues.

• Work in partnership with Product Management, Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams.

• Recognize recurring implementation patterns, friction points, and opportunities for enhancements.

• Provide structured feedback on client usage to product and engineering teams.

• Contribute to the development of reusable assets, implementation methodologies, and delivery standards.

• Support pre-sales and expansion efforts through technical discovery, solution scoping, effort estimation, and ENGIN demonstrations.

• Engage in conferences, industry events, client demonstrations, global on-site meetings, workshops, and internal corporate gatherings.

• Report directly to the Head of Delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Data Analytics, Operations Research, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electric or gas utilities, infrastructure analytics, or enterprise asset management settings.

• Practical experience with asset data (including health, reliability, risk, cost, and performance).

• Experience with the implementation or use of enterprise platforms such as EAM, GIS, analytics, or planning tools.

• Strong analytical skills and comfort in handling large, complex data sets.

• Capability to translate ambiguous client issues into structured, actionable solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote, dynamic environment.

• Strong ownership mindset with a proactive approach to action and delivery.

• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery models.

• Knowledge of modern data and cloud environments is advantageous.

• Must reside within one hour of a major international airport.

• Location must be within Canada or the United States.
