Senior Policy Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess current Indian Health Service and Health and Human Services policies and regulations for their impact on enterprise EHR modernization.

• Suggest policy revisions that align with modernization objectives and enhance healthcare delivery.

• Offer expert guidance on policy and regulatory issues influencing federal healthcare operations.

• Work in partnership with stakeholders to create strategic policy frameworks that tackle EHR modernization challenges.

• Promote effective communication among federal agencies, tribal health organizations, and other relevant parties.

• Represent the organization in discussions with federal and tribal leadership concerning EHR policy issues.

• Conduct research on healthcare policies, trends, and best practices pertinent to EHR modernization.

• Prepare reports, policy briefs, and presentations to aid leadership in decision-making.

• Capability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

• Strong proficiency in healthcare operations, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance.

• Skill in analyzing intricate policies and formulating actionable recommendations.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement abilities across various cultural and organizational contexts.

• Direct experience with enterprise EHR implementation or modernization projects.

• Understanding of tribal healthcare systems and community requirements.

• Master’s degree in health policy, nursing, or another clinical discipline.

• At least 10 years of healthcare leadership experience, ideally in direct patient care organizations.

• Proven track record in Indian Health Service operations and Health and Human Services policy execution.

• Extensive experience within federal government health systems.

• Familiarity with healthcare policy frameworks.
