
Senior Platform Manager, Authorizations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the systems that determine the real-time functionality of Mission Lane cards, reporting directly to the TSYS Principal Platform Manager.
• Oversee, configure, and enhance authorization settings, decline rates, and transaction matching across TSYS (TS2) and Visa.
• Collaborate with the Fraud team on token lifecycle management, authorization settings, stand-in processing protocols, virtual card oversight, and over-limit authorization policies.
• Work alongside the Product team on mapping transaction and authorization data across app, web, and agent experiences, while also focusing on token provisioning improvements.
• Maintain the operational infrastructure, which includes authorization monitoring dashboards, Snowflake queries, TSYS authorization log translation, and TS2 configuration and deployment.
• Establish standardized testing methodologies for authorization and transaction modifications, including the creation of testing workbooks and adhering to release protocols.
• Conduct exploratory work to comprehend platform capabilities and assist in shaping the execution roadmap.
• Offer support for TS2 Terms, Statements, and Cards as needed by the primary team.
• Act as an internal subject-matter expert for inquiries related to authorization and transactions.
• Present recommendations to leadership and external vendors such as TSYS.
• Generate documentation as necessary.
• Strong, hands-on expertise in TSYS TS2 authorization and transaction processing.
• Proven ability to proactively address complex platform challenges with minimal management oversight.
• Experience collaborating across Fraud, Product, Engineering, and related teams, effectively translating platform complexities for actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills for group discussions as well as interactions with vendors and leadership.
• Capability to independently develop and present actionable recommendations.
• Experience in building or maintaining authorization monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems.
• Proficient in developing and executing testing plans for platform modifications in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 4–6 times a year for effective in-person collaboration.
• Preferred experience in optimizing digital wallet and token provisioning configurations.
• SQL proficiency for conducting authorization data analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence is preferred.
