This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Design, construct, and manage production Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal infrastructure as well as public cloud platforms.
• Deploy and manage Filigran products across new regions and on different service providers.
• Create and maintain Helm charts, Ansible automation scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and a virtual appliance for on-premises setups.
• Ensure SaaS availability and reliability through observability, monitoring, capacity planning, incident management, and conducting post-incident reviews.
• Strengthen the platform and assist with compliance requirements for regulated environments, including FedRAMP and SecNumCloud.
• Leverage AI agents for infrastructure coding, incident analysis, and drafting runbooks while reviewing and taking ownership of delivered work.
• Design repositories, documentation, and guardrails that are friendly for agents.
• Define problems, suggest solutions, and document technical choices.
• Engage in a shared on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with the Platform Engineering team, Technical Product Manager, software development teams, and customer support.
• Report directly to the Director of Platform Engineering.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Engineer.
• Practical experience in running Kubernetes in production, including the operation and troubleshooting of clusters.
• Proficient in Ansible with experience in creating and maintaining Helm charts.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Linux and networking.
• Comfortable working with at least one major cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and an observability stack like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Security-focused mindset concerning secrets, access, network exposure, and potential impact.
• Familiarity with using AI tools and agents in the workplace, or a keen interest in starting, with careful evaluation of their outputs.
• Willingness to read and write scripts and tooling, primarily in Python.
• Comfortable working in a remote-first, asynchronous team environment, valuing ownership, autonomy, and teamwork.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Nice to have: experience with bare-metal or on-premises infrastructure.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Terraform, particularly for cloud infrastructure.
• Nice to have: expertise in infrastructure security or possession of a CKS certification.
• Nice to have: experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments.
• Nice to have: familiarity with Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, or S3-compatible storage.
• Nice to have: skills in designing workflows or guardrails for AI agents.
• Nice to have: fluency in French.
