This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement detailed payor strategies and business plans to achieve departmental sales objectives.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of intricate payout contracts, letters of agreement, and contract modifications, which includes initiating, negotiating, renegotiating, and executing them.
• Build, enhance, and maintain regional and strategic account relationships at various levels with partners.
• Articulate Bicycle Health’s distinct value proposition to the market.
• Utilize financial modeling to evaluate payor rate sustainability and proposed rates for new accounts or rate adjustments.
• Establish contracts with new partners and negotiate sustainable rate schedules, implementing bundled or value-based pricing strategies whenever feasible.
• Ensure that contract language reflects Bicycle Health’s interests.
• Execute payor contracts to optimize potential revenue and pull-through opportunities.
• Strengthen existing relationships by renegotiating rates, introducing value-based models, and expanding go-to-market strategies.
• Complete required profiles and documentation for new agreements.
• Record progress in sales support applications and maintain consistent communication regarding sales forecasting.
• Act as a subject matter expert in payor contract implementation and strategic account management.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management, Licensing and Credentialing, Compliance, Marketing, Operations, Enrollment, and other stakeholders to ensure contract alignment and execution.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Over 5 years of business development experience in the payor sector; experience in value-based care is advantageous.
• Established relationships with and experience in selling value-based products/services to Regional Payors.
• Ability to review contracts, respond effectively, and negotiate mutually beneficial deals with Payors.
• Previous experience collaborating with Revenue Cycle Management teams and in contract implementation.
• Excellent communication and creative problem-solving skills.
• Highly collaborative, goal-driven, and confident team player.
• Capable of receiving feedback and enhancing skill sets in a dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, escalate issues appropriately, and navigate ambiguity comfortably.
• Proficient in documentation and familiar with CRM systems; strong attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and efficiently.
• Strong prioritization skills to achieve both long-term and short-term objectives.
