Senior Oracle ERP Cloud Financials Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discussions with clients and conduct sessions to gather requirements.

• Evaluate finance and accounting processes while proposing solutions using Oracle ERP Cloud Financials.

• Oversee the configuration of the GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, and Expense Management modules.

• Manage designated functional workstreams throughout the duration of the project.

• Create and assess functional design documentation, configuration choices, and recommendations for business processes.

• Recognize opportunities for process enhancements and utilize Oracle ERP Cloud Financials functionality.

• Collaborate with technical and integration teams on reports, integrations, extensions, and customizations.

• Assist in the design of reporting and analytics.

• Direct functional testing and provide support for system integration testing and user acceptance testing.

• Investigate and resolve intricate functional issues alongside clients, project teams, and Oracle Support.

• Aid in data conversion, deployment, go-live, and stabilization after going live.

• Offer functional guidance, transfer knowledge, and conduct training for end-users.

• Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders.

• Guide junior consultants and project team members.

• Engage in project planning and provide insights on scope, risks, dependencies, timelines, and deliverables.

• Pursue ongoing education through training and certification examinations.

• Contribute to internal projects, offering project expertise.

• Support the training of technical staff, conducting interviews, assigning project roles, overseeing workflow, and performing performance evaluations as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline; relevant equivalent experience will also be taken into account.

• Over 5 years of practical experience with Oracle ERP Cloud Financials.

• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, and Expense Management.

• Proven experience in full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementations covering requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

• Strong grasp of finance and accounting processes, Oracle Cloud Financials best practices, and client-facing consulting.

• Preference for candidates with experience leading functional workstreams and mentoring junior team members.

• Comprehensive understanding of information technology procedures and practices.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle principles and planning.

• Proficient with or able to quickly gain proficiency in general and specialized applications, software, and hardware utilized in the organization and industry.

• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software.

• A reliable and stable internet connection is mandatory.

• A professional home office environment that maintains a professional background and low noise level while working remotely.

• Full-time availability during Apex IT business hours and, when necessary, outside of standard business hours.

• Capability to sit or stand for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer; ability to bend, sit, lift, and/or drive.
